This error occurs after clicking "Yes" to the dialog box after you have clicked Songs on iPod.
This issue has yet to be resolved but we are working on a fix. It is difficult to determine because some users encounter this and some dont.
Things to try out:
Format your iPods hard disk to factory settings.
Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes
Upload the songs from your computer to your iPod
Also, if it still does not work, try doing this process without putting Podcasts onto your iPod.
UPDATE: Then text shown above in bold has been confirmed to fix the issue users have been having with getting songs off of their iPods. Delete any podcasts you have and then attempt this again. We are working on a fix to allow podcast support.
Our program has been confirmed to work on several iPods, and it seems that the issue is corrupt iTunes Databases.
