What is the Write to ID3V2 option in Canto Pod?

In Apples new iPod with video and the iPod Nano, users are offered a special feature when playing their songs.
If you press the center button more then a couple of times, you will be taken to a screen that displays the Lyrics for the currently playing song. However, you will not see these lyrics if you do not put them there!
Canto Pod 2.1 offers an option for writing directly to your song files so you can take advantage of this feature. Simply select this option, and use the Songs on iPod feature.
If the lyrics for the given song are found, and the song file is an .mp3 file then they will be written without a hitch.
However, do to limitations of the iPod and iTunes, there are some other steps you have to take to be able to view these lyrics on your iPod.
Once you have downloaded the lyrics to the songs of your chosing, open iTunes and select your iPod. You must then right click on the song you have downloaded lyrics for and click Get Info. Then, click the Lyrics tab.
Ensure the lyrics are there and press ok.
If the lyrics are not there this is because they were not found or could not be saved to this type of file.
When doing this for multiple songs, the easiest way could eat be to get a batch of songs infos at once, and write to a field which you generally dont use, like the comment field.
Also note, this feature may not work correctly if your iPod is set to automatically update.
These issues and problems are not 100% guranteed yet, as different iPods and computers show different results.
