Write to Notes |
Canto Pod 2.1 now offers users the option to download to their Notes section of the iPod. This option is perfect for users who dont have either the iPod nano or iPod with video as it better organizes the lyrics, making them much easier to find. Song lyrics in the notes section also have direct links to the song if you would like to being playing it. |

Write to MP3 |
The iPod nano and iPod with Video have special features built into them which give you the ability to view song lyrics directly from the Now Playing screen. Canto Pod can now write to individual song files when using the Songs on iPod feature. |

Write to Contacts |
If you wish, song lyrics may also be downloaded to your Contacts section. This feature is suggested if you are downloading lyrics to a very long song since the Notes folder can only hold a certain amount of words per document. |

Songs on iPod |
From Canto 2.0 and on users can connect their iPods to their computers, run Canto Pod, press 2 simple buttons and see a list of all songs on their iPods categorized by Artists. They can then select up to 15 songs at a time and obtain the lyrics for them. |

Individual Song Search |
With Canto Pod, you can search for song lyrics regardless if you even have that song on your iPod or not. Search a database of over 100,000 songs and get it on your iPod. |

When you display an individual song lyric using Canto Pod, you are given an option to purchase this song in the iTunes music store. |

When you load Canto Pod you are taken to our Featured Lyrics site (in Canto Pod it self - no external browser) where you can see whats hot and whats not. You can view what songs are most popular among users with a Top 10 Lyrics and Top 100 Lyrics lists. Also, you can see our latest staff suggestions. Clicking any song listed on these pages will display them to you using Canto Pod. |

We've worked very hard to meet the demand of users for Canto Pod to support iPods with Podcasts on them. And now, it does, flawlessly. |

Down the line iPod support |
With Canto Pod 2.1, all iPods are supported. It makes no difference if your iPod can play video, or is the the first one that Apple released. However, sadly, the Shuffle cant find its screen, and we cant display lyrics on it. |

Auto Updater, Message System |
Whenever a new version of Canto Pod is released you will receive a prompt when you first load up the program. Also, if there is ever any maintenance going on with the program or anything at all that you need to know, you will receive a message in the program it self, never having to check our website. |
