Let's be honest. We have all been there. Sitting, listening to one of those old classics that everybody knows, singing the chorus aloud, and then - we mumble. But comeon, between Pink Floyd, Bon Jovi, and U2 there are seven million songs. How are we supposed to know the words to all of them?

So allow us to introduce your iPods new best friend, Canto Pod
Now, you may finally be able to understand Axel Rose, or see the double meaning behind some of Cobains lyrics. Canto Pod offers users of Apple's iPod the ability to download song lyrics for later viewing directly to it.

Never Run Out Of Things To Say
Our new lyrics database has over 200,000 lyrics stored inside of it. We are constantly updating it, and looking for erroneouses and making sure that there are no duplicates. There is no point in a lot of numbers if the quality isnt worthwhile.

Search, Pick, Do Whatever You Want
Our reintroduction of Canto Pod offers users an exciting new feature known as the Songs on iPod option. If you'd rather not search for individual lyrics, you can simply have your iPod connected while Canto Pod is running and see a list of all songs that are on your iPod. You can then check off up to 15 of them at a time and simply click the mini icon logo on the bottom right of the screen. These songs will automatically be downloaded to either your iPods Contacts folder, or to your MP3's lyrics tag, depending on what option you had selected.

Individuality Doesn't Hurt Either
If you would rather search for individual songs and view they're song lyrics while on your computer, you may do so. When done viewing the lyrics you selected, your given 3 specific options. First, you can click the blue magnifying glass (signifys search - get it?) which takes you back to the search results that you had seen before. Second, you can click the little iTunes logo which will take you to the iTunes Music Store for that specific artist, making a little less work for you. And finally, the one your probably going to press the most, the little iPod logo, which is the the one all the way to the right. Simply click this and the lyrics will be downloaded to your iPod.

All iPods welcome, well, except shuffles
Canto Pod is compatbile with all versions of Apples iPod (except for the shuffle, for obvious reasons). All features are available regardless of what iPod you have. However, if your a user of the new iPod with Video (5g iPod) or the iPod nano then lyrics can be viewed directly from the song itself. Otherwise, your lyrics will be downloaded to your iPod Contacts Section (for more on this click here).

Whats Hot, Whats Not
With our new Featured Lyric site you can view the lyrics that our group of volunteers are suggesting you check out, as well as seeing the Top 10 requested lyrics by users of Canto Pod. Its easy and painless, just click and look. Also, you can make a suggestion for a Band, Artist, or specific song that you think should be featured.
